I. Coaches
Head Coach Chen, Shu-Chih
Experience: the gold medalist in women's weightlifting at 1993 and 1995 World Weightlifting Championships
Coach Jiang, Ming-Xiong
Experience: the eighth in men's weightlifting at 1988 Seoul Olympic Games
Coach Chen, Wei-Ling
Experience: the bronze medalist in women's weightlifting at Beijing 2008 Olympic Games
II. Venues and Facilities
NTSU Weightlifting room is currently the largest one available at colleges nationwide. There are 18 standard weightlifting platforms. In addition to barbells and iron plates, it also provides comfortable air-conditioned environment to help athletes obtain better competition results.
III. Achievements at home and abroad in 2013
The weightlifting team performance: Kuo, Hsing-Chun obtained a gold medal at 2013 World Weightlifting Championships, a gold medal at the East Asian Games, and a gold medal at World Games. Hung, Wan-Ting got a bronze medal at the East Asian Games and a silver medal at World Games. The team joined four national tournaments winning 13 golds, 14 silvers, and 9 bronzes.
